
In September we learn about Grace and Courtesy and how to be a good friend. We practice using polite manners and caring for each other.

October is the month of exploring what is living and what is non-living, how we can care for the environment and the parts of our bodies.

The month of November we study of geography, our community and nutrition. We talk about what it means to be a "helper".

In December we look in to cultures around the world. How holidays are celebrated, traditional music and art along with foods. It's a fun time for all of our families to get involved and bring a little bit of their traditions together in a festive way.

January is our month to explore zoology. We study birds, reptiles, amphibians and fish. What their traits are and how to identify then in nature.

February is our study of weather and the water cycle. We look at different clouds and how they are made and what they mean for the future weather.

March beginning our study of botany. Looking closely at trees, leaves and flowers. We also celebrate the coming of spring and what that means for the animals and plants.

April is our geology study month. What are land and water forms, different kinds of rocks and how to identify them and the layers of the Earth.

In May we look up into the sky and learn about our solar system, the Sun and our moon. We also celebrate our mother's and father's and thank them for all they do for us.
