Malina Brown (Miss Mimi)
I am a passionate Montessori teacher of over 25 years. My love of Montessori began when I was just a young girl of 4 and attending a Montessori preschool myself. I remember the environment making sense and being a peaceful place to be. That feeling has been my inspiration while building Sunshine House Montessori. I want every child to feel safe, unhurried, inspired, respected and most of all loved.

I love supporting young children as they learn, grow, and thrive while guiding them in the importance of kindness, respect, and acceptance. I strive to bring a little sunshine into each child’s day and create a warm, welcoming classroom where everyone feels valued, supported, and cared for.
Co-Owner
Chris Brown (Mr. Chris)
"Mr. Chris" is the co-owner of Sunshine House Montessori and Miss Mimi's husband. While he will rarely be around during school hours he is a driving force for the school and is a wonderful behind the scenes collaborator.
